In highly visible and scrutinized environments, trust is built not through statements, but through consistent leadership behavior, access to opportunity, and systems that operate with integrity. Throughout my career, I have designed, led, and governed equity-focused initiatives that strengthen trust across employees, communities, partners, and external stakeholders while directly supporting innovation and business performance.
A defining example of this work is my ownership and leadership of the Morehouse College and Sage AI Incubator Program, developed in partnership with Morehouse College and Spelman College. I was entrusted by Sage’s most senior leaders, including our CTO, to design, build, and lead this inaugural program from the ground up. The incubator was intentionally created to expand access to innovation and entrepreneurship for underrepresented talent in technology, while reinforcing Sage’s commitment to responsible innovation and institutional trust in how emerging technologies are developed and deployed.
Under my leadership, the program delivered a high-touch, immersive experience that challenged students to develop AI-powered business concepts grounded in creativity, commercial discipline, and ethical application. By bringing together Sage executives, technologists, mentors, and community leaders, the program created a trusted ecosystem where talent was nurtured, challenged, and given meaningful exposure to enterprise leadership. Beyond immediate outcomes, the incubator established a scalable model for building diverse technology pipelines and reinforcing trust between industry, academia, and the communities they serve.
In parallel, I served as Executive Sponsor of the Sage Grow Program, a nonprofit leadership initiative designed to build organizational capacity, strategic clarity, and long-term sustainability. Through mentorship, action learning, and executive partnership, the program helped nonprofit leaders overcome growth barriers and strengthen their ability to deliver impact with credibility. This work reinforced my belief that corporate responsibility efforts are most effective when they build trust through capability, consistency, and shared accountability rather than one-time engagement.
My commitment to cultivating trust-based, inclusive leadership also extends to governance. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for HYPE (Hope for Youth, Inc.), an organization focused on empowering girls of color to pursue careers in computing and technology. In this role, I provide strategic counsel on growth, sustainability, and reputation, helping ensure the organization operates with transparency, discipline, and trust as it scales its mission and community impact.
Earlier in my career, I served as Chair of IHG’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, partnering closely with senior executives and HR leaders to guide DEI strategy, communications, and culture transformation across a global organization. This role required navigating complex stakeholder expectations and reinforcing trust during periods of operational change and heightened social scrutiny, further shaping my approach to inclusive leadership at scale.
Because of my extensive experience leading equity and culture initiatives in high-visibility environments, I am often viewed as a trusted strategic advisor to boards and senior executives. Leaders seek my counsel not only on how commitments are communicated, but on how trust is earned and sustained through governance, leadership alignment, and consistent action over time.
At its core, my work in diversity, inclusion, and culture is about strengthening enterprise trust, ensuring organizations lead with integrity, expand opportunity responsibly, and align their values with how they innovate, operate, and engage the world. I bring the same rigor, judgment, and accountability to this work as I do to any core business or reputational priority.
